More About Me

Meet Carrie

Managing Broker, ABR, SRES, Coldwell Banker Bain - Kent

Why do you want to have me help you buy or sell your home? Because I care about you. No, really, I do. I know that moving is one of the most stressful events in your life, and my goal is to take some of that stress off your shoulders.

If you are a buyer, I will give you ALL of the information you need to make the best decision for your life and future success. I am an Accredited Buyers Representative and a certified homebuyer instructor with the Washington State Housing Finance Commission and can help you through the homebuying process. I will ask you the hard questions up front, so you are still happy with your purchase decision in six months or one year or five years.

I take an educational approach with my clients as I come from a long line of teachers. You may never have purchased or sold a home before, or it may have been several years since you last did. I will take the time to provide you with all the information you might need along the way, and I welcome your questions about your specific situation. I am proactive and ask the questions that you may not have thought to ask whether that be clarifying something seen on a seller disclosure report or verifying that work permits have been finalized and approved.

If you are a seller, I will help you every step of the way to prepare your home for sale. You have enough on your plate, and I am happy to coordinate and manage landscaping, maid service, and maintenance contractors as needed. If you are downsizing yourself or helping a family member into a senior living facility, I am a Senior Real Estate Specialist and have vendors who can do the heavy lifting for you, and I will be there to hold your hand throughout the process.

I've been a managing broker with Coldwell Banker Bain for over 15 years and have worked throughout the industry, including title & escrow, banks & lenders, architecture, and construction. I bring a wealth of knowledge from several different perspectives.  Plus, I have a math degree that allows me to thoroughly analyze any property.  What does this experience mean for you? By understanding the different facets of a real estate transaction, I am better equipped to help you with your unique needs. I can help you understand the ins and outs of the title report. I can help you be proactive on issues that may be a challenge with the lender. I have industry contacts who are invaluable should a situation warrant a professional opinion. I also make sure that all the paperwork in completed in a timely and professional manner and any rules are followed and adhered to.

My ultimate goal is for you to be so pleased with my professional services that you will recommend me to others. I truly enjoy taking care of my clients and consider many of my past clients to be my friends.

When I am not helping my clients, I am a member of the Alpental Volunteer Ski Patrol with Summit at Snoqualmie, a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (a medieval recreation group), and an avid quilter. I also enjoy spending time at home with hubby and our dogs.

I will be an excellent advocate for you, meeting your real estate needs and hope you will give me a call!
